Lamb Bamiya - rich, spiced stew of okra, tomato and lamb neck.
Rice with fried onions, cardamom and cinnamon.
Ta’amiya - aka falafel (fried chickpea patties),
Smoked aubergine and peanut salad.
Tomato, fresh herb and onion salad.
Basbousa (a semolina coconut cake drizzled with orange flower syrup) served with whipped cream.
Om Ali - a unique sweet milky pudding
Sudanese style spiced, sweet black tea
Aniseed rusk biscuits.
