An adventurous feast of beautifully presented, colourful and healthy, Middle Eastern/North African dishes. It’s my favourite type of food to prepare and to eat! It’s also a vitamin-rich boost to help you through the winter days. There will be at least 9 dishes served, and that’s before the two desserts, and after dinner biscuits!
Welcome drink of warm, spiced Hibiscus Tea
Baba Ganouj (aubergine dip)
Carrot slaw with raisins and seeds,
Vine Leaves stuffed with aromatic rice & herbs,
Red Pepper and Walnut dip
Fuul medamas (warm stewed brown beans with white cheese garnish),
Spinach Kuku (Iranian spinach tortilla),
Tomato salad with peanut dressing,
Arabic flat breads.
Main hot dish:
Moroccan style Cous Cous, with vegetables and a harissa tomato sauce.
Fresh Orange fruit salad with Dates and Almonds;
Saffron Rice pudding with golden sultanas.
Coffee, Mint Tea, and homemade biscuits.
