Cook at home chicken biryani

There's a few things I have perfected in lockdown and biryani is one of them. Biryani is an old Persian word for rice. The dish isn't just an Indian favourite but can also be found in Sri Lanka, Burma and Uzbekistan where it is known as Plof. It takes days to marinade and cook and I now know why it is usually saved for very special occasions.
I will do all the hard work and leave the final stage of the dish for you to finish off at home, the biryani will come in a tray ready for you to pop in the oven, it takes about 20 minutes to cook.
There will also be a couple of sides and dips and some cook at home dough and garlic butter that will make the best naan type bread you've ever eaten.
Spice wise the dish is fragrant rather than spicy but if you like yours with a kick let me know when you pick it up and I'll pop a chilli spice tub in your pack.
Please choose from either option;
A - I will have mine with chicken please.
B - I will have mine vegetarian with cauliflower.

A fantastic evening with the best hosts, the food in particular was really well thought out so it could be made to suit personal tastes/diets. Very happy and will certainly be interested in attending future events.

Sadly due to lockdown we couldn’t actually go into Maria’s and this was a takeaway service, but Maria’s warmth of character came across immediately. We also had a lovely little chat on messenger afterwards. I’m looking forward to actually be able to have dinner in Maria’s. The food was so good that we’ve booked our next meal at the end of Feb, the Vietnamese Picky Tea. Thank you Maria xx
