Loved it, Maria was great, informative, honest about things (something had gone amiss with her dessert crumb, so she had made another batch in another flavour and we got to try both with the caveat of knowing one was not quite how it should have been). The Vietnamese night is just awesome, this was our second time. I hope other venues will hold similar events, Lancaster brewery would be great as it's more local (hint intended) can't fault it at all, highly recommend

The food that was suggested was the food that arrived! Wonderful mix of different bits and pieces providing a food adventure! I really like that whilst we had three sides each one in each trio was different to extend what we were tasting. I think a little piece of bread to dip into the humous for example would have been lovely but in no way affected the enjoyment of the meal! This is exactly the type meal my partner and I enjoy - together, exploring new tastes! Forget wasting your time and money on well known delivery services, pop over the Maria’s and collect a box of delicious food! What’s next?? We can’t wait :-)

A fabulous night was had by all. The gang appreciated the contacts from the hosts.... the food was fabulous and the drink flowed well! Sadly, the social distancing removes one of the key ingredients in Marias endevours, of mixing with strangers and sharing food and conversation - however - this format is great and whilst catering for 100 with food is a very different animal to in your own home - it is quite brilliant. Maria was great, from the start very active chatting to people as they settled to tables and then a brief group chat about the courses and etiquette - very much approved of her “no mobile phones” rule during dinner. Fine for photos and all but no constant phone usage hurrah 😀 the food itself was divine - the starter was probably my favourite simply because it was such a variety of flavours - delicious. The fish and the lamb both cooked wonderfully and the dessert - well, rice pudding with rose water and pistachio - absolutely divine. Can’t wait for the next one now! Thanks Maria and your team!

The salads and tart were delicious. Slow eating allowed each flavour to burst on the palate. Some of the flavours were very subtle and it was well worth taking time to taste them. This was a delightful experience. I have eaten at Maria's round her table and in Covid times with Take Away and the food is consistently of a very very high standard. Can’t answer question 2 because Maria is providing a takeaway service due to the current pandemic. She is such a warm and friendly host. On arrival she uses all the safe recommended social distancing measures and your salad is ready to take straight away. A treat awaits you when you get home. Beautiful fresh, and light and bursting with of lots of different textures and taste. Hugh portions as well.which will serves us easily two meals with an accompaniment of fish or chicken. Amazing night, the food was out of this world (especially the cauliflower and mango salad) and Maria passed on all the recipes. She spoke passionately about cooking and said she would help out anytime we needed unusual ingredients. The other people there were all friendly and I really enjoyed the night. So much so I’ve booked again! The vegan brownies and meringue were so tasty, and she encourages you to bring home all leftovers, which I did. Yum yum x
