Today to celebrate great British beef we are having a joint of beef roasted with a rosemary and garlic jus .... (its called gravy up here but I was trying to be posh).
Served with the biggest Yorkshire puddings on Thompson Street, golden, crunchy roast potatoes and a choice of at least three vegetables if not more.
If you are a vegetarian and want to come get in touch and we will rustle up one of our vegetarian delights.
For dessert we are having warm, straight out of the oven soft, fluffy home made scones served with such a variety of jams that you will wonder where in the kitchen we store all the jars (there will be best butter and clotted cream too) – I bet you can’t just have one!!

Summer Fruit Pavlova – strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and any other berries I can get my hands on sit on a homemade crunchy meringue base, covered in softly whipped cream and drizzled with a passion fruit and lime coulis
If you have room there is a selection of foreign and local cheese some hard, some soft - so soft they are practically gooey served with grapes, walnuts, figs, biscuits and homemade chilli tomato chutney (made by Ginny).
Freshly ground coffee served with a variety of after dinner mints. Our variety of liqueur coffees knows no bounds. We have whiskey, both Irish and Scottish, Brandy, Tia Maria, Baileys, Tequila, Rum, Amaretto; you name it we’ve got it !!! There is also Yorkshire tea, mint tea, green tea, liquorice tea, pomegranate and apple tea and decaf coffee if anyone wants one.
