Back by popular demand .... If you have been once to Sunday dinner you can't come again - let someone else have a turn.
We're not having a starter today but make sure you save some space for two puddings and a cheese board!
Today's roast is chicken, I usually put a variety of vegetables in with the chicken to roast and caramelize to add flavour to the roasting juices. There will be a choice of gravies one traditional made with the chicken and vegetable juices in the roasting tin and homemade chicken stock and the other one a tarragon and cream gravy ... you choose but just let me tell you I have made men cry with the wonder of my gravy ... If you are a vegetarian and would still like to come let me know and we will rustle up something equally as delicious. Roast potatoes and at least three different kinds of vegetables.
For pudding we have some little pots of lemon posset AND Rhubarb crumble - Alan's favourite served with cream, ice cream, custard all three ... any combination make it yours ....
If you have room there is a selection of foreign and local cheese some hard, some soft - so soft they are practically gooey served with grapes, walnuts, figs, biscuits and homemade chilli tomato chutney (made by Ginny). Let me know if you would like some. Freshly ground Brazilian coffee served with a variety of after dinner mints. Our variety of liqueur coffees knows no bounds. We have whiskey, both Irish and Scottish, Brandy, Tia Maria, Baileys, Tequila, Rum, Amaretto; you name it we’ve got it !!! There is also Yorkshire tea, mint tea, green tea, liquorice tea, pomegranate and apple tea and decaf coffee if anyone wants one.
