Shelina Permalloo wowed TV judges of BBC’s MasterChef and won the TV show with over 6.5 million viewers with her spicy and exotic street food dishes of Mauritius. She has since gone on to wrote cookbooks run restaurants and become a much sort after private chef.

As a Southampton born girl I am so proud of Shelina and how she represents her family, our city and herself. I visit her restaurant often (I even had my hen weekend there on 04.08.18) and I loved her food so much at the supper club. This was my first supper club I’ve attended and I loved it. Thought we would see her cook some of our food The venue was cold with air on that couldn’t be reduced. Thought there would be a welcome word from store management

The whole experience was fantastic and we would certainly come to another similar event. Food, drink, hosting everything was wonderful. Only criticism would be the last minute change to the start time as it did not leave much time to get to the event after leaving work.
