Cat was a fantastic host :) Communication via email was prompt. The food was delicious and I think the empty plates spoke for themselves. She did not rush us and gave us choice on when we would like the next course. We all had a Fabulous evening Thank you Cat for sharing your home with us :)

This is my first experience of this kind of venue. Fancy enough to be special and substantial enough to fill that void...and the dessert.... oh so tasty. The hosts were asked to c e and join us after dinner and proved to be as interesting as the venue. I would definitely recommend this venue as being 11 1/2 out of 10 for the total package.

Cat was the perfect host. Took the time to explain each item on the menu and ensured each guest had everything they needed throughout the evening. Cooking over Cat and Joel joined us to enhance the convivial atmosphere even further. Food was excellent and plentiful. Sharing dishes helped people to get to know each other so the conversation really flowed. With good food and good company the evening was altogether a wonderful way to spend a hot summers evening! I had a really nice evening. I went on my own and there were 2 other people on their own and a couple. The conversation was wide-ranging and fun. The Italian Feast was an ambitious 5 courses and the cooking of the main course suffered in the timing: the chicken was dry and the risotto rice was overcooked. But I loved the sorbet and the fish stew and the generous portion of the delicious tiramisu dessert.

The entire menu was perfection from start to finish; it was pretty clear that Cat had taken great care in preparing a menu list that both complemented the flavours well and left you feeling pleasantly full. The prawn curry has always been one of my favourite dishes, however the lime and mango pavlova was an equally strong contender :)

I have been to a few of Cat’s dinner parties, and every time I have attended there has been a flawless service from start to finish, with amazing food to boot. The comfort food feast was suggested by a friend (who also attended the evening) as a result of the cold January weather and post Christmas diet salads everywhere. We just wanted to treat ourselves to something, well, comforting! The menu certainly lived up to this. Everything was well portioned to the point where you enjoyed your food without feeling too full or underwhelmed. The celeriac soup, salmon en croute and garlic lamb chops where honestly so good I could have repeated the whole process in the same evening. My friend has a obsession with apple crumble, and she loved that the dessert exceeded her expectation..and the rum and raisin ice cream was an additional win! As always Cat was a lovely host and Joel is great to talk to...they provide such a welcoming atmosphere that if you choose to attend with someone you know or by yourself (i’ve done both) you would still have a fun evening.

There were two groups, one a birthday party, the other neighbours who hadn't met up for a long time...both groups needed time to be together. This didn't really work with the host's idea of meeting new people! However, a good compromise was made. The food was generous but a little bland and lacking in a sauce or dressing to go with the dishes. Having said that, we ate well and enjoyed our evening.

We chose Kitchenorium for a private dining experience as we were hosting cast members from a number of the Star Wars films ahead of our event, and wanted the chance to get to know them away from busy pre-Christmas restaurants and bland menus. The food was delious and plentiful. Would 100% recommend Cat, Joel and their cosy home-from-home pop-up restaurant - I shall definately be returning.

I absolutely loved this event. Home made delicious cakes, tea and coffee and a fabulous host. The event was truly free.One could donate to charity which all of us did. However, there was no pressure to do so. At the end we were even offered to take cakes home in a beautiful little box. In the interest of my waistline I declined. I ll be back for one of the next events for sure.

Japan is one of my favourite places to visit, so the Japanese menu was definitely something I wanted to try! As a huge fan of the katsu curry, Cat had a lot to live up to. Luckily I had nothing to worry about as each dish was equally delicious (the matcha dessert was a perfect end to the courses) and the company of both hosts and other guests resulted in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, along with a steady flow of sake to get everyone in the spirit of the evening...arigatou gozaimasu, Cat!

We had an awesome time at Cat's! Wonderful food! Cat was very flexible and accompanying with the menu choice and suggested a 'make your own sundae for the kids - which was a huge hit! My favourite part of the evening was not needing to worry that our children were disturbing other guests as being a private function we and our friends had Cat's house to ourselves! Cat was absolutely fabulous. I have been to a few of Cat's events but this time organised a private event for my family & a friend's family (kids included). Nothing was too much trouble. Cat adapted the menu for fussy eaters and really took into account what the kids would like. On the night everything ran perfectly with everyone feeling at ease including the kids, who made themselves at home in lounge area between courses. Food as usual was delicious. Overall, a wonderful night. We will be back!

As newbie/foodies to WeFiFo my partner and I didn't know what to expect, but were looking forward to the experience never the less. I always love the element of surprise when it comes to dining out and have found that some of the most unlikely venues have served the best food so was interested to see what Cat Dutton and her infamous Kitchenorium could and would deliver. Knocking on the door of the Victorian Terrace we noticed a little sign in the window for the Kitchenorium - great name - and could hear guests that had already arrived getting acquainted behind the glass. Cat welcomed us in, introducing us to guests and inviting us to a cocktail; as it transpired she was a fantastic host from the first to the last and really knows how to hold a dinner party. There were a variety of guests from assorted backgrounds but what was clear was that - we really were the newbies! They all knew each other from other events that Cat has hosted and it was really enjoyable and interesting to hear the different themed events that Cat has hosted and they all have clearly enjoyed! The heart of the home is the kitchen - and this is clearly the beating pulse of Cat's home and somewhere that you can just tell that she is happiest most. The open-plan kitchen dining area works very well, with cook and husband helper very much a part of the party. The food soon arrived once seated and throughout the 5 course Italian meal it was clear that she is exceptionally well organised. Empty plates taken away were swiftly replaced with another to the chorus of "ooh's and ahh's." The meal itself was incredibly well thought out. Highlights for myself and partner were the Semolina/Parmesan Gnocchi, the BEAUTIFUL Tuscan Lamb Stew (Rustic appearance belied the hours of slow cooking and love that had gone into this delicious dish) and the Pannacotta was one of the best I have ever eaten. The granita was a pleasant palette cleanser and the second course Crab Risotto needed just a minute more but that can be my only minor criticism. Cat is an unpretentious host, with an unpretentious house and it goes hand in hand with her food selection and presentation. There is nothing not to like. I would certainly return to Cat's Kitchenorium as I am intrigued by the many themed events and would like to taste more of her marvellous cooking - which as I have mentioned once or twice - has ALOT of heart. I would certainly like the opportunity to get to know her more as I admire what she is doing and how she has opened her home and has built a career for herself out of doing what she clearly does best. Next time I will take some of my friends and make a real evening of it. Well done Cat! You have won my heart. :)

What a great evening! A lot of thought and effort had obviously gone into the whole menu - the chocolate and Earl Grey torte was the perfect end to the perfect meal. Enjoyed with a great bunch of people too - I attended as a single but didn't feel awkward at all. Top marks Cat and many thanks!

A wonderful evening with a well thought-out menu. The food was top notch as always, and the company really made the evening. Cat is super chill and was able to chat with us and the rest of the guests. It's also worth mentioning that I didn't know many of the people when I first entered the house - but the beauty of Cat's events is that you are able to socialise with people you wouldn't normally speak to with a mutual love of food (and chatting in depth about hachimals and other equally off-topic things)! A great place to go to for an evening of eating and meeting, I'd recommend it to anyone :)

Cat the Culinary Queen continues to amaze with her cooking skills and treated us to a fabulous thai menu . Having been to a few restaurants in the area I can be quite picky about my food - particularly Asian cuisine. I have to say, without hesitation, that the food provided by the Kitchenorium was superb! Each dish had been thought through and prepared beautifully..I still have dreams about the prawn curry! I even loved the dessert which contained dates in it (on my list of demon foods)..which just goes to show Cat's skill. As usual, the ambience was fabulous along with the company. Thank you again for a wonderful evening :) Guys...that prawn curry...

This was my first visit to Kitchenorium. I will certainly go to another event in the not too distant future. That speaks for itself, doesn't it? Cat and Yoel create a very relaxed atmosphere. I would encourage anyone to book in! Let me mention in particular that the set -up around the table makes it easy and chilled to be there as a 'singleton': No awkwardness!!

Cat was the perfect host and got the evening off to a flying start with a complimentary cocktail. The Italian feast was superb. Every dish was mouth-wateringly good but my favourites were the lamb stew (that I would gladly have had seconds of) and the pannacotta. The guests all interacted and got on really well which made a superb dining experience a wonderful social evening too. Can't wait to do it all again soon!!

Been looking forward to trying out Kitchenorium for a while and it certainly didn't disappoint! The hosts were fab and got it just right with a lovely, relaxed home-from-home atmosphere. Having done no research before attending (why would I for a business meeting!) I was a bit surprised/confused by the location and assumed I had the wrong place. After some frantic checking and rechecking of addresses and e-mails I decided I must be in the right place and knocked on the door. Hey presto! There was a tapas lunch. Some kind of signposting (both at the venue and in directions/email) would have been helpful. I enjoyed the meal and had a good chat with some new people. I felt the food was a bit anglicised and could have packed a bit more flavour punch to live up to the Tapas title, but it was nicely done and well presented.

I must admit some trepidation booking Kitchenorium as the venue for our local business leaders lunch with the local MP, but Cat was an excellent hostess and provided a delicious lunch in an environment that encouraged great conversation. The complimentary Aperol Spritz had the event off to a great start. Our one vegetarian guest was delighted with her meal and appreciated the contact from Cat beforehand to confirm the dish. Feedback from all the guests was extremely positive and they enjoyed being out of their usual 'comfort zone' for business lunches. I understand one guest has already booked to return for another Kitchenorium meal . I would happily recommend Kitchenorium and look forward to bringing other groups there. Thank you Cat for looking after us so fantastically .

When it's been so cold outside, the Comfort Food Pudding Party was a welcomed distraction! I was wondering if a soup and desserts would be enough food, however by the end of the evening I was pleasantly full and wished I had worn more elasticated trousers instead of jeans! Overall the experience was exactly as described, which each part of the menu cooked to perfection. Cat creates a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere in her home that's hard to replicate at a standard restaurant.

Another excellent evening from the fabulous Cat, and a truly delicious menu full of culinary delights that got everyone geared up for the festive season. The mulled wine provided a great start to the evening, and although the entire menu was lovely, my biggest favourites were the gin and tonic sorbet and profiteroles - better than anything iv ever had in a restaurant! Overall another top-notch dinner party which, considering what was included in the banquet, was excellent value for money :)

We were really spoiled as course after course came out with bulgar salad, a fishy soup, sorbet, an absolutely gorgeous lamb tangine (recipe please) and a lovely gorgeous cake, oh and I forgot the mention the cocktail when we arrived. Cat was the perfect host, very welcoming and made us feel at home. Every course was divine but the lamb tagine was exceptional. A sensation for the taste buds with the perfect mix of herbs and spices and the lamb was so tender it just melted in your mouth. All the diners complimented Cat on her tagine. Thank you for a wonderful evening, it just flew by (a mark of a great evening) and I didn't want it to end. The after dinner games of 'movie' themed hangman and noughts and crosses with the other diners was fun too!! I can't wait to attend another of Cat's events.

Cat welcomed us with an gorgeous "White Russian" complementary drink to kick start our evening. She took time to introduce all of the guests, and make us feel at home. The food all tasted fantastic, and was beautifully presented, I wish I had taken photos of all the courses to share! The starter and main were very tasty, and the three puddings were heavenly. There was some debate amongst the guests about which was the best desert, we all had our favourites. I will be asking Cat if she will share a couple of the recipes with me, so that I can try them at home. The portion sizes are generous and great value for money, I was nearly too full to manage the chocolate brownie at the end of the meal with my coffee. Overall a lovely evening out, indulgent desert dining with attentive hosts. :)

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Cat and Joel. Kitchenorium is a relaxed, warm, welcoming space to enjour great home cooked food. My favourite dishes of the evening were the red peppers (I wanted to pick the plate up and lick it), the sea bass cerviche was delicate and full of flavour and the homemade spiced orange sorbet - I could have eaten my own body weight of this gentle, iced delight. Please don't hesitate to book - I promise you will not be disappointed!
