Bio
Having grown up in Thailand in an Indian household, I was surrounded by tastes, smells, textures, and colours of international foods. Food has always played a significant role in my life and meals have been a time of family and friends coming together. I have learnt many of her skills and dishes from watching my mother and grandmother cook. I studied Thai and Indian food at Mrs. Balbir's Cooking School, and later Thai RoyaI Cuisine at the prestigious Mom Luang Puang Royal Thai Cuisine School. I have also studied Classical French and Western cookery at Westminster Kingsway College and attended many additional workshops in Japanese and Chinese cuisine along with nutrition, baking and patisserie. My food is inspired by homestyle of cooking that is different to what is already available in commercial restaurants. I like to create menus that are original and incorporate the traditional vegetables, fruits, spices, herbs and flavours while using local seasonal produce. I can create bespoke menus for my clients needs and am able to cater for any dietary requirements. I am is able to produce Asian food from Thailand, India, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia and beyond along with English, French, Italian, Spanish and any other European food.
