I am not "cooking" a lot tonight as I will be sitting down and eating! If you are a vegetarian or veganand want to comea long then let me know when yo book and we will make a few adaptations to the menu for you.
Several large boards of all things charcuterie, different types of salami, chorizo, olives and cheese served with a variety of breads to tear and share.
Tortilla - A Spanish classic with only three ingredients, eggs, potatoes and onions but done well it is a miraculous thing.
Chickpea, olive and pepper chunky tapenade style dip.
Albondigas – you will always find these on tapas menus. The thing that makes these homemade beef meatballs special is the sauce. The meatballs are first fried in an onion and smoked garlic infused olive oil until golden brown then a slightly spicy sun dried tomato pasata is added. This is then simmered until reduced to a thick, picante, yummy deep sunny sauce.
Gambas pil pil- one of my favourite tapas dishes - prawns fried in garlic with a slight hint of chilli - it wont be too hot, I will do some extra chilli on the side if you want it slightly spicier.
Chicken with rosemary and saffron - pan fried off the bone chicken thighs with a hint of rosemary and saffron.
And relax ...... we always have two puddings so if there is anything you fancy do let me know but if push comes to shove we always have homemade ice cream in the fridge.
