Debbie and Kirsty are running the London marathon for Sense - National Deafblind and Rubella Association.
We hope you can join us for dinner and help them reach their fundraising goal! (we raise the money - the running bit is all down to them).
Avocado and tahini dip – This Middle Eastern take on guacamole is extra delicious, it has now become a firm favourite.
Butterbean, chickpea and Za'atar dip - creamy, flavoursome and utterly irresistible.
Tortilla - this classic Spanish dish is heaven on a plate. Quite simply eggs, potatoes and some sweet Spanish onion.
Feta salad with spinach, sumac, pine nuts and croutons - this is a really interesting twist on a salad. The citrus rush of the sumac mixed with the saltiness of the feta, the softness of the spinach and the crunch of the pinenuts and croutons means every mouthful is different.
Tomatoes fried with cumin, chilies and cloves - you will be fighting over the pan juices.
Cauliflower with saffron, – I love cauliflower and it is always a challenge to find a recipe that puts a bit of glamour in to what can be a dull, white vegetable. The Saffron not only gives this dish a bit of pizzazz but turns the cauliflower golden yellow.
Chicken - mmm need to have a little think about this one but there will be chicken!
All served with warm pitta, chunks of french bread and of course garlic bread.
Cake again To Be Confirmed
Then there is the mega cheeseboard - selection of foreign and local cheese some hard, some soft - so soft they are practically gooey served with grapes, walnuts, figs, biscuits, quince jelly, membrillo and a snifter of port.
Freshly ground coffee served with a variety of after dinner mints. Our variety of liqueur coffees knows no bounds. We have whiskey, both Irish and Scottish, Brandy, Tia Maria, Baileys, Tequila, Rum, Amaretto; you name it we’ve got it !!! There is also Yorkshire tea, mint tea, green tea, liquorice tea, pomegranate and apple tea and decaf coffee if anyone wants one.
