Lemon, turmeric and black pepper roasted salmon - we have another salmon dish that always goes down well so I thought I would give this one a whirl.

Roasted chicken with a quince glaze - - a marinade is made of quince jelly, cinnamon, ginger and olive oil and basted over the chicken before roasting.

Souk spiced root vegetables with roasted halloumi and crumbled feta - cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and garlic are some of the big flavours that make this dish sing.

Green Salad - busting with flavour the ingredients include lemon, sesame oil, pomegranate molasses, ginger, walnuts, olives and a mixture of baby greens - Yes I know it's only salad but honestly this is a taste sensation.

Carrot, tahini and toasted hazelnut salad - fresh, nutty, crunchy and sweet - you will be coming back for more.

Eastern coleslaw - have a think about coleslaw then erase this taste from your memory and embrace this version - you will never think of coleslaw in the same way again.

Now lets get down to why we are really here. I have listed a few but will add some more depending on what I pick up from the Bake show - I promise there will be at least 5 different cakes to try.

Zesty orange polenta cake - sumptuous orange soaked sponge.

Sticky ginger cake with a honey glaze - a bit like a posh parkin this has treacle, ginger and cardamom in it to give a real twist on a variation.
