Hello my name is Christina and cooking is one of my hobbies but what I really like to do is food styling. Having worked in hospitality many years ago I made it my ambition to experience what guests experienced when dining out.
Although my day job is totally different to this,my other interests apart from cooking are Interior designing which I qualified in some years ago.
I think there is a true relationship between the two, understanding how colours complement one another together with different flavours and textures to enhance the food and carefully arranging the food, (food styling) is an art to the presentation and being innovative is integral to the finished productive. My passion for cooking goes beyond just serving a meal on a plate.
My inspiration comes from understanding how different chef's use food to articulate their style.
I also get my ideas by dining out in different restaurants and where better to do that than visit the Country the food originates from.
I have become inspired with ideas from places like Cuba, Australia, Spain, the Caribbean and Italy an d Vienna.Cooking and hosting is just one of my hobbies and I like to see people enjoying my food.
